Biography

Born in the British rock culture and influenced by bands like Queen, Coldplay or Elbow, Isaac de los Reyes has been a songwriter since he was 14 years old. Maybe his very first songs were lacking in fine poetry or future vision, but it was only a matter of months until he became more confident and really put everything into them.

Though he played drums since he was a little kid, he started taking piano and music theory lessons when he was 8, at the conservatory of his hometown, Sanlúcar de Barrameda (Cádiz, Spain), and after years of being one of the most talented pianists of his class, he finished his classical piano degree in 2012, with distinction.

He also started playing the guitar, and in the meantime, has played in many bands and participated in lots of projects with other musicians in the region, making his interests in rock, pop and jazz music grow little by little, and keeping his musical intuition as active and as creative as possible.

After all these years writing songs, in 2011 he decided to focus on them with the recording of the Neon Hearts EP (home-made recording, not comercialised).

Enthusiastic about the finished product, and even though he had always been involved in many jobs, he finally decided to go for it, performing four succesful concerts at Ikea Jerez de la Frontera in 2014 and at Prado del Rey's Spring Festival, some small concerts in his hometown, and recording these three brand new songs, into which he puts all his effort to show all his talent, and the joy and the energy of his music.

Nowadays, Isaac is based in London, working as a freelance pianist and teacher, and he keeps on gigging and creating new songs, putting is effort in doing what he loves most: MUSIC.
